Join us this All-Hallows-Eve for the spookiest games we can think of! From the ghostly Mysterium to the thrilling Zombicide: Night of the Living Dead we've lined up an evening of board games to truly celebrate Halloween gamer style.
6pm - 10.30pm Friday 31st October
Throughout the night we plan to run:
Mysterium - Become a psychic and divine spectral visions to solve the murder of a restless ghost
Play as a group of mediums helping an amnesiac ghost reveal the circumstances of his death with obscure and colourful visions. Solve the mystery before the clock strikes seven so the ghost can finally rest in peace.
Zombicide: Night of the Living Dead - Relive (or re-die?) George Romero's iconic zombie-genre defining horror movie!
Take on the leading roles as survivors, fighting against ghouls controlled by the game itself, using simple and intuitive rules. Swap your survivor’s identity between Romero mode, recreating the movie’s atmosphere, and Zombicide mode, going all-out against your living dead foes! Find weapons, eliminate ghouls, and upgrade your survivor’s skills along the way. But be careful, as the more ghouls you kill, the more of them show up!
Blood on the Clocktower - Can good find the demon in time? Or will evil overrun this once peaceful town?
During a hellish thunderstorm, a scream echoes through the sleepy town of Ravenswood Bluff. The townsfolk rush to investigate and find the beloved local storyteller has been murdered, their body hanging limp from the clocktower. As blood drips onto the cobblestones below, a realisation slowly dawns… a demon has been unleashed, killing by night and taking on human form by day. Take on one of many unique roles in this social deduction game of deceit and death!
The Pendulum of the Dead - Maria is locked up in a psychiatric ward and must escape finding her son before it’s too late.
The Pendulum of the Dead is the first episode of the murderous trilogy about Maria. 50 Clues is an immersive puzzle game that offers the experience of an escape room, but in a format that can be played at home. You combine objects, solve puzzles and decipher codes to complete the story. A smartphone or tablet keeps track of the solutions and provides multistep hints if the need arises.
